More about Joe Chammas:
Joe Chammas grew up in Mississauga writing lyrics but didn’t begin playing guitar and finding his own voice until well after his awkward high school years. A year after graduating, a friend brought him to his first open mic and he caught the performance bug which lead him to a string of performances over the next few years from porches and backyards to bars, coffee shops and festivals all around the GTA. He put out his first album, the window ep, in 2008. He spent the next few years learning lessons and honing his craft until he was ready to put out his first LP Wiser Creatures in 2012. You can find him either strolling the Mississauga suburbs, or in the heart of Toronto's downtown core, with a guitar invariably strapped to his back looking for the next spot where he can settle down and play a few songs.
